South Harbor Construction Update – August 15, 2024

– Waterfront parking along Nicholoff Way is now open. The new parking layout is diagonal, please park accordingly.

– A walking path and guardrail are open along the parking area.

– ADA-compliant/handicapped parking spots are located on the concrete pads at the western gangway, Fisherman’s Memorial, and Drive Down Float eastern access.

– Temporary floats will be removed soon, and the North Fill Launch Ramp will be operational.

– All slips in the South Harbor are ready for use with water services available, but electrical services are still being finalized.

– The Drive Down Float is still in construction

The City of Cordova appreciates everyone’s patience as they work towards completing the project and making the harbor fully operational.
