Voting hours: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
There will be one proposition before the voters at this election.
By citizen recall petition the following is proposition one:

Shall Josh Hallquist be recalled from the office of City Council Member?
The actual ballot will contain a sponsor’s statement of the grounds for recall and following the sponsor’s statement Council member Hallquist may include a statement of 200 words or less.
Sample ballots containing complete ballot language will be available on or before October 24, 2017.
Voter registration: Voter registration applications may be obtained at City Hall or you may register online at http://www.elections.alaska.gov/ . To be qualified to vote in a regular or special city election, a voter must be: A) Qualified to vote in state elections and registered to vote in state elections at a residence address within the city limits of Cordova at least thirty days (Sunday October 8, 2017) immediately preceding the municipal election; B) A resident of the city for thirty days (Sunday October 8, 2017) immediately preceding the municipal election; and C) Not disqualified under Article V of the Alaska Constitution.
