To improve the parking experience along the harbor shoreline, we are implementing the following changes, effective April 1, 2025:
Parking Time Extension:
- The maximum parking duration along the harbor shoreline will be extended from 48 hours to 72 hours.
- This change is designed to provide more convenience for all visitors.
New 2-Hour Visitor Parking Spaces:
New 2-hour visitor parking spaces will be added:
- One near the boat ramp
- One near the Breakwater Trailhead
Long-Term Parking Lots (Permit Required):
- The parking lot at the end of Nicholoff Way and the lot on Breakwater Avenue will be designated for long-term parking.
- Parking permits are required for these areas. Current slipholders will be issued a parking permit along with their slip rental.
- Parking Season: Parking in the North and South Harbor lots is available from April 1 through September 30.
How to Obtain a Permit:
- Permits can be obtained from the Harbor Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Current slipholders will be issued a parking permit along with their slip rental.
Enforcement Notice:
- Please be aware that failure to display a valid Harbor Parking Permit may result in towing and impoundment of your vehicle at the owner’s expense.
- Additionally, parking past the allotted time in the short-term designated areas (such as the new 2-hour visitor spaces) may also result in towing and impoundment.
Parking Area Maps:
To help you better understand the updated parking areas, we’ve attached three maps outlining the parking locations, including the new visitor spaces and long-term parking lots. Please take a moment to review them for further clarification.
