Sales and Property Tax Filing Reminder
Quarter 3: July 1, 2024, through September 30, 2024
This is a friendly reminder to file your sales tax for the third quarter of 2024, which is due on Thursday, October 31st. Additionally, the second payment for Property Tax is also due by October 31, 2024.
All mail postmarked by October 30th, 2024, will be considered timely.
Please make note of the following:
- You must file a sales tax return even if no business was conducted during this period.
- Sales and property tax return forms are available on the City of Cordova website under Document Central.
- Credit card payments for property or sales taxes are not currently accepted.
- For assistance with calculations, contact us via phone or email.
Returns can be submitted through the following methods:

- Mail: City of Cordova, PO Box 1210, Cordova, AK 99574
- Fax: 907-424-6000
- Drop off at one of the drop boxes located at Cordova Center
- In-person at City Hall
- You may also simply email the information in the body of an email without needing to attach the form.
